These can be ordered as an optional extra should you not have sufficient wall space, or would like to be able to move your radiator from one room to another.
Controls:
Manual TEi1 Thermostat:
The TEi1 manual dial is the simplest option, and it is available on the Radiator, Crystal and Opal ranges.
In the radiator configuration, each number represents approximatly 5°, so if you want to achieve a room temperature of 20°, simply set the dial to four.
In the Crystal and Opal configeration, each number represents 8°, so 2.5 would give a room temperature of 20°.
The temperature is sensed by a little probe which comes out the bottom of the radiator, so it is not affected by the heat from the radiator.
TDI Digital Thermostat Timer:
The TDI digital thermostat is a seven day programmable timer that is specific to the heater it is mounted on. It is available with the Radiator and Crystal ranges. Users can choose between using the heater as a manual thermostat (press plus and get heat) or as a timed heater.
As with the manual control, the temperature is sensed at the bottom of the heater by a little probe which comes out the bottom of the heater.
There is also a function which allows you to heat for only a specific time (like a countdown alarm) and another which will stop the heater from working while you are on holiday, and make it start again on the day you are due home.
